Hi there I’m Elise! I’m currently a college student majoring in music industry studies, and eliseOffTheRecord is my space to talk about everything happening behind the scenes. From artist management to marketing strategies, contract breakdowns to industry trends/news literally anything and everything music industry related.

This blog won’t just be about facts and news. I’ll also be sharing my journey as I navigate my major, build connections, and figure out what it really takes to make it in this business. Whether you’re an aspiring manager, artist, or someone who just loves music and wants to understand how it all works, I’ve got you.

Music is about talent, passion, and storytelling. But the industry? It’s a whole different game. My goal is to grasp it, and maybe even change it for the better.
